Learning Pods

Learning pods! Nationwide families are setting up their own learning pods. Parents are connecting with other parents to setup their own small group to do virtual public school or homeschooling. Some families may be hiring tutors to facilitate or the parents themselves are taking turns teaching the children the curriculum. Do you have questions about setting up your own Learning Pod?

Please tune into HomeschoolRoomies.com on Thursday Aug 27, at 8AM EST where a Master’s Degree educated teacher and tutor will discuss learning pods through Zoom. If you have questions you’d like addressed during our discussion, please join our event live.

Your host: Susan Moldow has more than 20 years of experience teaching and empowering students in reading, math, writing and study skills. A graduate of Cornell University (B.S.), the University of Maryland (M.Ed.), and Florida Atlantic University (M.A. in English) as well as a current student pursuing her PhD, Susan is passionate about helping her students and being a student. She has worked with students throughout the country and internationally to help students to improve their test scores. Susan Moldow founded her own educational consulting business in 2001 and has become one of South Florida’s most effective consultants for SAT, ACT, college applications, GRE, and SSAT/ISEE preparation. Susan is brought to us today by the tutoring agency Cender Scholars.

Moderated by: Randi Zucker founder of HomeschoolRoomies.com, your simple homeschooling social network to connect with parents and find resources.
